Review: This just arrived and is more than I bargained for. Between pages 20 & 21 is an entire Christian children's book.
I don't know if the Satanic Panic is alive and well at the publishers or if this is just a bizarre printing mistake, but at any rate, I am now the owner of two unrelated books sharing one cover. As far as I can tell, both are complete... Maybe I should work the children's book into one the adventures. This could get interesting. Who knows what kind of adventure the Good Shepherd could have!?

Review: These books, or rather... pamphlets, do provide a decent STARTING POINT to help a DM plan some fun one shots. But there's not enough information to actually run any of them out of the books. You'll need stat blocks from other Kobold books. Plus you'll have to flesh out a lot of the characters, environments, and themes yourself. I didn't expect a lot for the price. But I think I still expected more than I got.

Review: Surprizingly super good - i bought it for my husband who is newly becoming a DM and as a DM myself I couldnt help but skim through it a bit. Perfect for DMs who need a quick session or for if something goes off the rails and they need to fill in some action. Nice events that scale with almost any adventure and can be modified with monsters/challenges to make it your own. Worth it

Review: I started a DND group and wanted one-shots to be available for drop-in folks. This book is so much easier for beginning DM’s to draw from than the “official” WOC books. It was very helpful for my new DM’s. We’ll written stories, too.

Title: Great content, meh execution.

Review: The actual adventures included in this book are excellent, I love the first one especially. However, there are a few minor spelling issues and the actual book itself is printed a bit poorly and was bent during one read-through. The content itself make up for those shortcomings though, and I would absolutely recommend this book to any dungeon master with rambunctious players like mine. 9/10.

Review: This book has great adventures but they are incorrectly labeled, calling for monsters way above the ability of the suggested player levels and it's missing 3 pages of the appendix so it's impossible to get statistics for the items

Review: This book is stocked with a bunch of fun quick adventures. We played one with 3 level 4 characters and it took us around 5 hours to complete. I think these are great one shot stories and easy to set up as side quest hooks into a main campaign.
